Tuesday’s Mah Jongg Is More Than a Game

In the ancient Chinese game of mah jongg, each player must make the most of the tiles they’ve been given. It’s the same in the game of life.

When Roseann faces a family emergency, her mahjong group welcomes a new player, Grace. Roseann returns, now raising her grandson alone as a widow with health challenges. Marlene cares for her dying mother and difficult father, Susan navigates aging and dating after two divorces, Barbara contends with a manipulative husband, and Grace, a social worker, offers guidance until her loyalties are tested.

As these friends confront life’s struggles, will their bonds deepen, or will they drift apart like scattered mahjong tiles?
